Flywheels

I will be going through my flywheels soon. I have a few. For me, seeing that circle and all the timing marks is terribly difficult. Is there a way to make the marks white and the rest of the flywheel black? I have done it with parkerized firearms, where you use correction fluid and wipe off the excess with lacquer thinner. My concern is with a painted flywheel, the paint you want to keep would come off, too

I always paint them engine color and then take the paint off the BB. I also mark them so I know where I stand...
