54/261 need .040 piston rings.

i have a 54 261 its .040 i can not find piston rings, i have some part # but know one has them ,any ideas?

There has been a supply problem. I do not know why. Call around to engine shops in your area and see if they have a special line on them. Thats really all I know how to do. I use rockauto.com as much as I can but lately even they do not have everything.

i found a set of rings, at nothtwesteren auto supply grand rapids,mich. great guy to talk with!will use them again!there # is 1800 704 1078,got there # from terrill machine in texas big thanks to both companys!!

next issue while removing lifters # 3 exhaust lifter has hole in top and hole completly through the side ,none of others has this!its not wear hole it looks made that way ,tried to send picture but couldnt get to work.any ideas??? thanks!!
