So leave it to me to need something the vendors do not sell. They DO, but you have to purchase the entire bracket and I think $19.95 to replace a grommet is a bit over the top. The ONE vendor that has just the grommet for $2.00 is Bowtie Bits. Thanks Jeff. Anyway, I am talking about the rubber grommet that is inside the bracket that sits sideways under the dash near the cig lighter for the Ranco Heater Control Valve. The grommet has a slice from the center to the outside but that is not necessary. So purchase one from Jeff for $2.00 or purchase 25 of them from McMaster-Carr. Here is the info for doing that:
Buna-N Rubber Push-In Grommet for 3/4" ID & 1/16" Material Thickness, 5/16" ID, MS-35489-10 Part number is 9307K77. 25 of them for $10.62. I was very disappointed that some of the vendors felt it necessary to make us purchase the entire bracket just to get the grommet. The bracket is rarely damaged!
