I seems my 6 volt starter has gone bad. The 41 Chevy Coupe is 12 volts. Is there a 12 volt starter that can be installed , or will there be flywheel mesh issue? Thanks

There will be a starter mesh issue. Better to have the 6v starter rebuilt or get another 6 volt starter. They are actually better on a 12 volt system than a 12 volt starter anyway!
